Just imagine if someone’s dead body was lying on a train, would you be able to dare to travel on such a train? Something similar happened recently in the Doon Express moving from Rishikesh to Howrah.
Recently, a passenger traveling on the 17th seat of Doon Express’s S-6 sleep coach en route from Rishikesh to Howrah, fell ill on the train and died due to lack of treatment.
Passengers think he has coronavirus that no one even dared touch.
Even after sitting for hours and complaining from the train to the station, there was no arrangement to remove the body. The train continued to run like this on the track. Finally, when a passenger flagged the Ministry of Railways and Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal on Twitter, the railway woke up and the body was taken out at the next stop.
After the passenger tweeted, the railway department moved and the body was taken down at the Gaya station. Next, the RPF tweeted that in the presence of the RPF and the doctor on Gaya, the corpse was discharged from the Doon Express.
