Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jawaharlal Nehru University has advised hostel students to go home due to the growing chaos in the capital. The university administration said that students should return home if possible. According to data published by the Ministry of Health, 19,486 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Delhi on Friday. At the same time, 141 people died. Cases are increasing day by day.

According to an advisory issued by the university, there are currently 64 cases of Kovid-19 infection on JNU campus. Meanwhile, a total of 322 cases have been reported by the university since March of last year, while five people have died. Therefore, JNU said the virus can spread rapidly in hostels, messes, and libraries. In such a situation, taking into account the safety and health of students and campus residents, students are advised to return home as often as possible. This will keep them safe with their families. With this, the spread of Kovid-19 will also be stopped.

Recently JNU provided a lot of support to MPhil and Ph.D. And MTech. Accordingly, students can now submit a thesis under this by December 31, 2021. The University has given 6 months more time for students. According to the report, the university extended the deadline until June 30 to submit papers, and extended the deadline in December 2020, last year. But then in a notice issued on April 9th, the university announced that Masters, MTech, and Ph.D. Students will be able to submit their thesis by December 31 of this year.
