The center has reached the Supreme Court for exemption from the Delhi High Court order

On Wednesday, the central government approached the Supreme Court to seek exemption from the order issued by the Delhi High Court to summon the authorities to the court on the issue of oxygen supply in all states including Delhi. The Delhi High Court has asked officials who monitor oxygen supplies to all states including Delhi to attend during today’s hearing.

Attorney General Tushar Mehta said, “It is regrettable that the Daly High Court has begun a process of contempt while the center and all officials are doing a better job in this regard.” The Attorney General presented the matter to CJI Ramna. He said that Judge Chandrashud’s panel will hear the case.
