The art instructors will benefit from the seventh paycheck commission soon. Minister of State for Technical Education Dr. Subhash Jarj provided information in this regard at Vidhan Sabha today. He said that the service rules in technical education institutions will soon be amended, and teachers ’pensions and salaries will be determined according to the seventh wage committee.
Dr. said. Subhash Jarj while answering supplementary questions in this regard raised by MLAs during Question Hour, that he is constantly negotiating between Finance Department and Personnel Department to amend service rules.
Because there is no consensus on two or three issues of concern to teachers, fixing pensions and salaries is delayed. He assured that according to the rules the arrears will be paid soon and retired employees will also be granted the seventh wage commission benefit.
He said arrears at self-funded engineering colleges are only repaid based on the financial condition of the community or board of directors.
To solve the financial and other problems of these colleges, the Prime Minister relaxed the budget announcement by making a sensitive decision. Under the budget announcement, self-funded colleges will be considered constituent colleges of universities.
