Prime Minister Ashok Gilot has taken a big step to create jobs in Rajasthan. CM Gehlot approved the Prime Minister Regional Innovation Fund plan for development according to the local needs of each region in Rajasthan.
In this state funded scheme, one crore of Rs.1 crores per district per year. The main objective of this scheme is to create job opportunities through validation of work related to construction of utility assets, integrating their innovations according to local needs and general aspirations of the area as tested by the district collector.
Significantly, Prime Minister Ashok Gilot announced this scheme in the state budget. Under this scheme, such activities and works that are not available in the previously launched State Plans will be carried out.
The Rural Development Department will be the nodal administration for the scheme at the state level and the Zila Parishad (Rural Development Cell) at the district level will be the nodal agency for approval and implementation of works.
Business approval will be issued in the amount available in the Prime Minister’s Domestic Innovation Fund scheme by the district collector. In line with other plans, under this scheme, all public utility works related to the benefit and benefit of the local community will be implemented to fill critical gaps in rural and urban areas.
