The Rajasthan government is obligated to grant every citizen of the state the right to health. For this, each family will receive cashless treatment of Rs 5 lakh from Universal Health Insurance.
Minister of Medicine and Health Dr Raghu Sharma informed about this at Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday. Dr Raghu Sharma informed that NFSA and SECC (Socio-Economic Statistics and Census-Class Census-2011) families as well as all contract workers and small and marginal farmers will receive free medical care under Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Health Insurance Scheme.
At the same time, other families will be able to have an annual medical facility of up to Rs 5 lakh for hair-free treatment at government and private medical institutions at 50 percent of the premium (i.e. around Rs.850 per year). Under this scheme, around Rs 1 crore from 10 households was included in the scheme by increasing the range of beneficiaries.
During this time, the Minister of Medicine said that the health infrastructure in Rajasthan is being strengthened to make the common man without health under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Each community health center will be designed in each district.
