Prime Minister Ashok Jahlut has instructed the authorities to make appropriate arrangements for a smooth supply of drinking water during the summer days.
While addressing the review meeting of the water health mission of the Public Health Engineering Department at the Prime Minister’s Residence, Jahlut instructed officers to work on a war basis to provide drinking water connections to every household in rural areas of the state, underwater life matters.
Meanwhile, CM Gehlot said that within the framework of the mission, the formation of committees up to the village level and the bidding process at different levels must be completed in a time-bound manner.
He said that besides giving a boost to the Water Life Mission business, the focus should be on quality.
The participation of people at the local level has been ensured in the mission plan itself. Significantly, the people of the state encountered water problems during the summer season. In light of this, the Cabinet has already issued instructions to the authorities in this regard.
