The Congressional Election Commission met on Sunday to prepare for the House elections in Puducherry. The commotion occurred during a congressional election committee meeting when the party leader waved the DMK flag. The meeting was also attended by former Prime Minister Puduchiri Narayanasamy. In front of Narayanasamy, there was a violent quarrel between the leaders.
Additional security personnel were deployed outside the Congressional office following the uproar during the Congressional Election Committee meeting.
