The risk of corona infection has increased among wild animals. The Union Ministry of Forests and Environment confirmed the death of a lion as a result of the injury. But the letter did not mention the place of death. The ministry issued warnings to all states. Due to the risk of infection in wildlife, forest personnel have been placed on high alert at the Panna Tiger Reserve.
Pana Tiger Reserve Director Uttam Kumar Sharma said that with the imposition of the Corona curfew, there has been a complete ban on tourist visits to the Pana Tiger Reserve as of April 16. The system of continuous monitoring of tigers is in place from the beginning. He explained that the Federation’s Ministry of Forestry and Environment issued an advisory note to all states. He pleaded with people to avoid exposure to wild animals. Also, do not feed monkeys and other wild animals with any kind of food. He said field personnel were provided with a mask and sterilizer. Instructions were issued to take all necessary measures to prevent infection from forest employees in the villages of the buffer zone.
