According to a special news report by ANI, 7-year-old Virat Chandra, who hails from Hyderabad, set an impressive record for climbing this mountain range at a young age. India coach, who is guiding Virat to climb Kilimanjaro, said on this occasion that we have taken all necessary steps during this climb.
He also told Virat that if at any point during the climb we felt unsafe, we would come back. But Virat kept his spirits high and was able to climb Kilimanjaro at such a young age.
However, the smallest record for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was set as the 7-year-old Montana Kenny. She comes from Austin, Texas, USA. Although there is not much difference between Virat’s age and Montana’s age, the record is recorded in his name.
