New cases of Coronavirus in India rose to 3.48 thousand, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 2,33,40,428.
According to the Ministry of Health, 3,48,529 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, and the total death toll rose to 2,54,227 after an additional 4,200 people died. After two months of continuous growth, the cases of treatment deficiency decreased to 3699,665 cases, equivalent to 16.16% of the total cases, while the cure rate for the injured reached 82.75%.
According to the data, so far 1,93,76,648 people have recovered after infection, while the death rate is 1.09 percent. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 30,56,00,187 samples were tested as of May 10, of which 18,50,110 samples were tested on Monday. Of the 4,198 people who died in the past 24 hours due to infection, 480 in Karnataka, 793 in Maharashtra, 347 in Delhi, 301 in Uttar Pradesh, 298 in Tamil Nadu, 214 in Punjab, 199 in Chhattisgarh, 118 in Uttarakhand, 144 people were killed. Haryana, 169 in Rajasthan, 132 in West Bengal, 103 in Jharkhand, and 118 in Gujarat.
