House of Representatives elections: the first phase continues in West Bengal and Assam!

Today began the first phase of voting for the West Bengal and Assam assembly elections. Voting began in the two states today at 7 am, amid tight security measures.

In West Bengal, voters will be able to vote until 6:30 pm and in Assam until 6 pm. Long lines were seen at the polling stations since the morning. The Corona Evidence also receives special attention during voting.

Significantly, voting will take place in eight stages in West Bengal and three stages in Assam. In the first stage, voting will take place for 30 seats in West Bengal and 47 seats in Assam. The seats where polling takes place in the first phase are spread out in West Bengal in the tribal-controlled areas, Burulia, Pankora, and Jargram districts, east of Medinipur (Part 1), and East Medenipur (Part Two).
