The election trumpet is back in Rajasthan again. The Indian Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Sub-Assembly elections for the three seats in Rajasthan.
According to the Indian Election Commission, polling will be held on April 17th for the by-elections of Ragsamand in Ragsamand District, Sahda in Bellwara County, and Sujangarh in Chorro District while counting will take place on May 2. Timeline for Vallabhnagar seat in Udaipur has not yet been announced.
In the three councils, a total of 7 thousand lakh 43 thousand 802 voters will be able to exercise their right, among them 3 thousand lakh 80 thousand and 192 are males and 3 lakh 63 thousand and 610 females. Chief Election Officer Praveen Gupta said the notification to the three counties will be issued on March 23. The submission of the nomination will begin with the issuance of the notification. Nominations can be submitted by March 30th.
The nomination and audit papers will be examined on March 31 and names will be withdrawn by April 3. The vote will be held on April 17 while the count will take place on May 2. 1,145 polling stations have been set up in the three councils. Of these, 387 polling booths were established in Sahada, 418 in Sujangarh, and 340 in Rajsamand.
