Fast-growing cases in 10 states

On Tuesday, 55,469 new cases were found in Maharashtra, 9,921 in Chhattisgarh, 6,150 in Karnataka, 5,928 in Uttar Pradesh, 5,100 in Delhi, 3,280 in Gujarat, 2,924 in Punjab, and 2,236 in Rajasthan. More than six hundred people were killed during this period, including 297 in Maharashtra, 62 in Punjab, 53 in Chhattisgarh, 39 in Karnataka, 30 in Uttar Pradesh and 17 in Delhi.
