Bihar Lockdown: Closed until May 15 in Bihar, Nitish directed a disaster management group to release guidelines today

Due to the spread of Corona infection in the state of Bihar, the government of Nitesh decided to impose a lockdown by May 15. Prime Minister Nitesh Kumar himself reported this on Twitter. He is said to have released a detailed guidance manual for the disaster management group.

On Monday, Patna High Court took a tough stance on the increase and treatment of Coronavirus infection and requested the Attorney General to speak to the state government and on Tuesday, May 4, to inform whether the country will face lockdown or not. He also said that if the decision is not made today, the Supreme Court can make difficult decisions. This question was raised by Patna High Court while hearing the PIL case filed regarding the treatment of Coronavirus patients. The Supreme Court said that even after the order, facilities for treating Corona patients had not been increased. There is no concrete business plan for the uninterrupted oxygen supply in state hospitals. Only 160 tons of oxygen are raised instead of 194 tons per day from the central ration. The country did not have an advisory committee that dealt with the Corona explosion, and a war room was not established.

On Monday, 174 people died of corona in Bihar. 42 died in Patna, while 132 died in other districts of Bihar. However, according to the Health Department, 82 people died during treatment in the state. In Magada, Boujebour and Saran, 59 people died in Corona. Nine in Kaya, eight in Siwan and Begusarai, six in Rohtas, and five each in Nalanda and Vaishali. Coronas took four each in Bhojpur and Buxar, three each in Arwal, two each in Saran, Gopalganj and Kaimur, and one each in Jehanabad.
