A Health Ministry official said Pradeep Kumar Nandi, 73, was the party’s candidate from Gangpur Association constituency in Murshidabad district in the West Bengal assembly elections. He was transferred to Mother House Hospital in Murshidabad after suffering from Corona, where he died on Friday night while undergoing treatment.
Five other candidates are infected with Corona
