Amid the increasing number of corona infections in the country, the multi-herbal formula developed by the Central Ayurveda Research Council of the Ministry of Ayush has proven useful in treating Ayush 64 Coronavirus.
Rajasthan’s Minister of Medicine, Health and Ayurveda, Dr Raju Sharma gave information in this regard today. He said scientists from the country’s reputed research institutes believe Ayush 64, a multi-herbal formula developed by the Ayush Department’s Central Ayurveda Research Council, is useful in treating COVID-19 infections with mild and moderate symptoms. Dr Raghu Sharma said that this medicine and other Ayurvedic medicines like Ashwagandha, Giloy Vati, Mulethi, Anutel etc. are provided in government Ayurvedic hospitals and clinics.
Rajasthan’s Minister of Medicine said that the drug “ Ayush 64 ” appeared as a ray of hope for patients with mild and moderate infection from the Corona virus amid the global devastation of the COVID epidemic. Remarkably, AYUSH 64 was originally developed as a malaria drug in the 1980’s and has been used for COVID infection. Dr. Raghu Sharma said that Ayush 64 consists of drugs like Saptaparna, Kutki, Chirayata, and Kuberaksha.
He said that a comprehensive, intensive, multi-center clinical trial was recently completed by the Department of Ayush and CSIR to assess the efficacy and safety of AYUSH 64 in managing mild to moderate COVID infection.
It is based on extensive scientific research and is a safe and effective Ayurvedic medicine. The drug was also recommended by the Ayurveda and Yoga-based National Clinical Management Protocol, which was released after examining the ICMR National Task Force for the Management of COVID.
