Assembly elections: The Congress issued a list of candidates for Bengal and Assam, and these figures came to the fore

On Saturday night, the Congress announced the candidates for the West Bengal and Assam assembly elections. For Bengal, on Saturday night the Congress issued a list of 13 candidates, while the Congress of Assam issued a list of 40 candidates.

Prior to that, the BJP list of 57 candidates for Bengal was released. While the ruling Trinamall Congress announced 291 outright candidates two days ago. The list was published by Mukul Wasnik, the secretary general in charge of the Congressional Committee.

Congress is competing as an alliance with the left parties and the IFS. It won 92 out of a total of 294 seats on which it will present its candidates. The Left Party will compete for 165 seats and the Indian Secular Front for 37.

Meanwhile, Congress has released a list of 40 candidates from Assam.
